There are so many times when I ride that I think, "That would be a cool picture." So today, I brought my camera along and grabbed some pictures (42 to be exact!) It also gave me an excuse to ride a little bit more slowly and take some breaks. Our internet is kind of slow, and can't handle posting too many pics at once. SOOOO, over the next few days I'll post a few of my favorites. This one is not necessarily a favorite, but I figured I had to get at least one shot of me in front of the corn :)

boooooring!
I know, I know. This blog has become boring. We haven't been sky diving or skiing, bob-sledding or bicycling... oh wait, I've been biking. More to come on that tomorrow.
We HAVE organized (if you can call it that) our pantry. SUPER EXCITING.
Actually, only the bottom three shelves are organized. We bought these storage containers at a restaurant supply store near my parents. I used my labeler to make sure we always know what everything is :)
So super fun :)

Sunday drive
Last Sunday Carter and I went for a Sunday afternoon drive after church. There was a storm that came through and we caught the beginning of it on our drive. This picture doesn't do the wind justice, but it's the closest we have to documentation. :)

Flooding
Carter and I drove to Chicago for job purposes, and we were forced to take numerous detours because of the Chicago area flooding. The major road between Indiana and Chicago was shut down! Here is a picture of one field that was under water. The rain happened over the weekend, but there were still some roads under water. I think they got almost 10 inches of rain!

Fall
If you look closely, you can see the leaves starting to change.
You can see this from our backyard. :)

all in a mornings work....
Our garage is filled with peg board, so Carter and I took advantage of it and bought some things to organize our tools. This isn't quite the finished product, but it's close! We even have a little workbench! :)

bike ride
This morning I went on a bike ride, but decided to get out of Muncie to start the ride. On the ride I observed a few things...
1. I saw more dogs chasing me than cars on the road... 4 dogs vs 3 cars
(Luckily I was faster than the dogs!)
2. It's better to ride between two corn fields than bean fields... they block the wind better!
3. It's fun to not know where you are going and learn your way around by exploration.
4. There are a LOT of small creatures around fields. I saw 1 frog, 4 caterpillars, and about 1,000 moths.
5. East Central Indiana is pretty FLAT!

We've got twins!
When Carter and I went to Chicago last weekend, we ended up buying a car! The funny thing is, we now have fraternal twins. The only differences between the cars are 45000 miles, the color and the newer car doesn't have a spoiler. Oh yeah, there is a year difference as well ;)
Carter and I are putting together some shelving for our garage. Here he is putting the second shelf together. Very fun! :)

Future with the White Sox?
Here is the younger half of "E Squared." Boy does he love sports! :) Can't wait to see these guys again!

Tarzan's Jane...
Carter and I got a chance to see some of my family this past weekend since my two brothers brought their teams to the midwest. We got to see two of our 13 nieces and nephews too, which is always a lot of fun!
