My niece Eleanor turned 4 yesterday. I called her today to see how her birthday was and this was a part of our conversation.
Me: Eleanor, How was your birthday?
Eleanor: Good, you can come to my party on Saturday!
Me: Eleanor, I can't. Remember I live far away in California? Maybe I can send you a card. But it won't be there for your party. It will be a little late.
Eleanor: Or you can send me a present.
:-) Oh kids, they crack me up!

That's great! I'm gonna use that line when my birthday comes around.
Don't let her down now Auntee Becca... she's got big hopes it sounds like. You should get her what every 4 year old girl wants... a pony! :o)
Eleanor actually did have a pony for a long time until her parents sold the pony (ok, horse). Haha, but seriously Rebecca, I think we know who's gonna be the favorite aunt!
jamie
Haha... that is true. I don't think she'll have to pester too much to get a pony! I asked her what she got for her birthday and she told me she got a "Hello Kitty Cat." I asked her what she decided to name it and she said, "I didn't have to name it cause it's name is ALREADY Hello Kitty Cat."
oops... my bad! I guess despite my kid nature I have to learn all of this stuff yet!
